The weapons featured are the Light Bowgun and the Heavy Bowgun. LIke every other weapon, both of them will get new actions to expand their range of possible attacks when the expansion launches. Basically, today is heaven for those who enjoy some healthy ranged combat after yesterday’s introduction of the Bow’s actions.

If you want to see and learn more Monster Hunter: World Iceborne, you can enjoy the new trailer and the brand new footage and details, on top of a batch of screenshots that were showcased during a recent reveal. You can also take a look at the rich lineup of special editions coming to Japan. Unfortunately, western gamers won’t get to enjoy those (unless they import them, of course).

We also recently seen more videos similar to the ones showcased today, featuring the Clutch Claw, the Greatsword, and the Longsword, the Hunting Horn and Hammer, the Switch Axe and Charge Blade, and the Bow and Insect Glaive.

Monster Hunter: World Iceborne will be released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6.

The Steam version will be released in the winter, so the gap won’t be as long as it has been for the main game.
