Posting on the PlayStation Blog, Japan Studio executive producer Yasutaka Asakura revealed the Shadow of the Collosus Special Edition Box Set, which contains both physical and digital goodies. Funnily enough, this special edition includes a printed manual as an exclusive bonus. Here’s all the items included in the $49.99 special edition:

  1. A box of the special edition
  2. A steelbook collector’s case with an outer sleeve
  3. Artist postcards
  4. Printed Manual
  5. In-game digital extras: Ancient Bow, Cloak of Fate, “Spotted Steed” Agro skin
  6. Two PS4 Custom Themes
  7. PS4 Colossi Avatar Set
  8. World Map
  9. Colossi Stickers
  10. The game disk of Shadow of the Colossus remake

Upon looking at the list of items, the Shadow of the Colossus Special Edition Box Set doesn’t have some of the staple special edition goodies such as a physical disk for the soundtrack, an art book, or a figurine. But you can’t complain much considering this only costs $10 more compared to the standard edition.

In addition to the special edition reveal, the team announced that the PS4 Pro version will allow players to choose between two play options. The Cinematic mode will output the display at 4K with the framerate targeting 30fps while the Performance mode will run the game at a silky smooth locked 60fps. To show the remake’s visual fidelity, the team released a comparison video  showing the PS2, PS3, and PS4 Pro version of the game side-by-side.

Shadow of the Colossus remake on the PS4 launches exclusively for the PS4 on Feb. 6, 2017.
