Monster Hunter: Generations Release Date Revealed

Monster Hunter is back, and it comes alongside an exclusive new 3DS launch.

Monster Hunter: Generations will be launching in Europe on the 15th of July, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

The news was announced by Nintendo of America on Twitter, in addition to the reveal of a special edition New Nintendo 3DS XL bundle, which was release alongside Monster Hunter: Generations in two months time.

The bundle will include a copy of the game, and a limited edition 3DS adorned with a blue coating and the Monster Hunter: Generations logo, as seen below.

Nintendo also released another trailer for the game, entitled “A Brand New Type Of Hunter”, which you can check out here. 

Additionally, Capcom and Nintendo have promised that a free, downloadable demo for Monster Hunter: Generations will be available closer to the game’s release, though a specific date has not yet been given.

The game, which is also known as Monster Hunter X, is the latest installment in Capcom’s long-running Monster Hunter action RPG series, which tasks you with tracking and slaying fantastical beasts across open-world environments.
