Metal Gear Survive Throws Stealth out of the Window With New Pyrmaid Head Costume

It wasn’t long ago when the only things resembling Konami-released video games were of the Yu-Gi-Oh variety, but eventually these dark times did end. There was Super Bomberman R, the recently announced Castlevania Requiem collection, and, of course, Metal Gear Survive.

In the latest Metal Gear Survive event, Konami has taken the opportunity to remind us just how rich their video game history is. Specifically, this new event will tie in the Silent Hill, Contra and Castlevania franchises as well as some of the company’s old shoot ’em up games.

The new single event titled ‘The Researcher’s Story (Special Edition),’ coming to Metal Gear Survive next week, will allow players to unlock new Konami-themed items, including new cassette tapes and a pyramid head costume.

This new Metal Gear Survive event will be available from Oct. 23 until Nov. 6. The main story must be cleared in order to participate.
