Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Ex? What could Konami possibly throw into this package to make it a ‘definitive’ version of the game? The missing chapter 3, perhaps?
Reddit users spotted a listing for Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Ex on Amazon Japan, as well as NetGames. While both product pages have since been taken down, they did list October 30 as a release date for this version of the game. Of course, it’s likely that this could just be a placeholder release date, so don’t mark your calendars just yet.
Even so, the appearance of Definitive Ex hasn’t stopped fans from speculation about what could be included in this package. Sure, we’re all expecting Ground Zeroes, The Phantom Pain, and the preorder bonuses to be thrown into it. But fans are also hoping that maybe, just maybe, this version of the game could come with the missing final chapter of The Phantom Pain. MGSV was a solid game by itself, but to say that the game ended on an unsatisfying note would be a severe understatement.
