Meet Hawthorne in the Latest Destiny 2 Character Video

Hawthorne, like Hawk! Get it?
This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Destiny 2 may not be out until next month, but we’re learning a whole lot about the team of characters in the game and their roles in the story. The latest trailer revolves around the sniper Hawthorne, who is supposedly a Hunter, but Cayde-6 doesn’t seem to want her around. That’s okay, she’s still pretty awesome. She’s also got a hawk for a partner, and anyone with a hawk on their shoulder should be okay by you. If you were wondering, the hawk has a name, and it’s Louis, thank you very much.

This is the next video in a line of clips Bungie has been putting out seemingly in an effort to help everyone get to know the other faces of Destiny 2 better, shifting focus to the characters behind the game and the personalities that Bungie wants to make important. There’s meant to be a whole lot of story this time around, and it’s clear so far that Destiny 2 is making good on that promise.

Previously the last video introduced fan-favorite Cayde-6, the wise-cracking, sarcastic Hunter voiced by Nathan Fillion. Yes, that Nathan Fillion. Can’t wait to see more? Destiny 2 launches on September 6 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but PC players will have to wait until October 24.
