Today Compile Heart announced a delay for the Japanese release of upcoming dungeon-crawling JRPG Mary Skelter Finale.
The former release date was on October 8, 2020, while now the game is scheduled to hit the shelves a month later, on November 5. Luckily, it’s not a giant delay.
The reason for the shift in release date hasn’t been detailed beyond “various circumstances.”
This is the second time Mary Skelter Finale is delayed. It was originally planned for a launch in Japan on August 27, but Compile Heart delayed it back in June.
At the moment, no western release has been announced, so we’ll have to wait and see whether Idea Factory international will announce it down the line. We don’t know whether this delay has affected probable plans for North America and Europe.
It’d also be interesting to see whether it’d lose the PS4 version in the west, as it happened with its predecessor.
For now, you can take a look at the latest video, an older trailer, another featuring the opening cutscene, and some gameplay from a while ago.
