Devil May Cry 4 Actors Are Doing Motion Capture Together Again

Interesting...
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

For those who don’t know, Reuben Langdon and Johnny Bosch are both lead voice-actors/motion-capture-actors in the most recent mainline Devil May Cry game, Devil May Cry 4, with Reuben playing Dante (as he did in DMC3) and Johnny playing Nero. The connections here seem obvious. Johnny Bosch goes to his Facebook page and posts a photo of him and Reuben Langdon doing mo-cap work. What could it be? Well, one person indeed asked just that in the comments on the photo, leading to Johnny curtly replying with: “Can’t say”.

Now, before all you Devil May Cry fans out there put your hype levels into the high heavens, some context is needed here. It would be pure speculation to jump to this being related to a hypothetical Devil May Cry 5. It could be a lot of things, related to other side projects or related media that involves Dante and Nero, and maybe not even them.

Who can say for sure? There have been hints at future Devil May Cry related media, post DmC, with the most obvious being the recent Special Edition of DMC4 that added 3 whole new playable characters. More recently, DMC 2-4 director, Hideaki Itsuno, tweeted that a new project has begun, and that it can’t be announced just yet. This was back in mid-January. The hints are there for all you theorists and hopefuls out there, but for now, we’ll just have to keep an eye on all related parties for further news of whatever this new project may be.
