Call of Duty: WWII was announced earlier this year and will see the popular first-person shooter make a return to its more historic roots. Just like past games, WWII has been confirmed for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but Nintendo fans have been wondering if the game will see a release on the new Switch console.
The game’s developer, Sledgehammer, previously stated it had “no plans” for a Switch release but didn’t rule it out. During a recent Reddit AMA, a user asked if Call of Duty WWII will see a Switch release and Sledgehammer replied with a definitive “no”.
A Call of Duty game hasn’t been released for a Nintendo console since 2013’s Call of Duty: Ghosts that came out on the Wii U. Maybe the next installment will see a release on the Switch? Call of Duty: WWII is set to be released on November 3.
