Vince Gilligan, the creator of the acclaimed television series ‘Breaking Bad’ is collaborating with PlayStation to turn the show into a virtual reality project that is not a game but more of an experience.
According to a report by Variety, Sony is keeping their mouth shut on the project (for now) and will not disclose any information on the casting or a release date.
Vince Gilligan is very excited to explore what virtual reality has to offer and can’t wait to tell a new story in a different type of medium. Global chief executive of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Andrew House, thinks that ” this could be another interesting way to see how VR can drive towards the mainstream.”
The Breaking Bad VR experience will most likely be available on PlayStation VR in the future. Since the project is still in the early stages, there’s no concrete information as to when this will come out, but we’re sure that Vince Gilligan will try his best to bring Breaking Bad back in the best way possible.
