Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition has appeared in the New Zealand Xbox store. Though no official announcement has been made about this specific version of the title, the screenshots (via Gamer Center Online) below detail what could be included in such a bundle.
Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition is listed for $149.95 on the New Zealand Xbox Store, which is $40 more expensive than the base version of the game.
According to the screenshot, the bundle will include the game, Season Pass, and a Gears of War 4 Vintage Del multiplayer character.
There are two things to note in the listing. First, those who order the Ultimate Edition are given 4 days early access to the game. Rather than downloading and playing the game on the worldwide release date of Oct. 11, Ultimate Edition purchasers will be able to play the full game on Friday, Oct. 7.
Second is the odd wording of the season pass. The description reads “Join this VIP experience and score the following perks: the exclusive Vintage VIP Pack, one year of unlimited access to new maps, early access to an exclusive VIP playlist and six gear packs.” It is unclear if that means access to download all maps released within the year, or if Season Pass holders are only given access to the maps for the first year.
