Just today, Ana Amari, the latest member of the Overwatch team was announced. She is a bounty hunter from Cairo and a founding member. She functions as a support sniper, with a biotic rifle/grenade in her arsenal used to heal allies and impair enemies. She also has a sleep dart to neutralise foes at short range.

Twitter has been blowing up in anticipation of her imminent release, but you can try her out right now on PC!

Overwatch has a Public Test Region that is usually used for stress-testing new patches and content before it hits all the mainstream servers. The good news is, anyone can access it, and all you have to do is follow these steps:

STEP 1: Log out of the Battle.net app and restart it

STEP 2: Go to the Overwatch Tab and click the Region/Account button above Play.

STEP 3: Choose PTR: Overwatch under the ‘In Development’ tab.

STEP 4: Hit install and wait for the PTR files to download.

STEP 5: Hit play and get comfortable with the new hero!

You can thank me later. For now, happy shooting!
