IO Interactive has been hard at work pumping out new episodes of Hitman since early this year, taking players across the world between France, Morocco, Thailand, and Colorado. Next week, the developer will be sending off season one with it’s sixth and final episode in Hokkaido, Japan.
To celebrate the occasion, IO is releasing a new gameplay trailer every day this week leading up to Japan’s release on next Monday on Halloween. Every trailer will focus on one of the game’s environments (of which there are already six when counting the tutorial stages). The final trailer will function as the release trailer for season one’s final episode.
For those of you who have been waiting until the game’s completion to jump in, Square Enix has already announced a complete physical edition for January that will include all of Hitman’s first season content. The physical release will cost $60, which is the same price as buying all episodes at once or piecemeal.
IO has already expressed plans for an additional season of Hitman and will be rolling out additional elusive targets to keep players busy well into 2017.
