Blizzard unveiled the brand new Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion for Hearthstone a couple of weeks ago, and they’ve just announced the official release date for it as well. Players can expect to jump into the new content this week, on August 10. For those who might be a little more reluctant to shell out some cash for the new cards, they can still be obtained through the Arena mode and spending in-game currency.

Here’s what the new expansion includes:

  • 135 new cards
  • Legendary Hero Cards – when played, transforms our nine heroes into fearsome Death Knights and gives players modified hero powers.
  • Eight free missions – fight epic bosses and a final showdown against the Lich King himself. Reward: get a free legendary card from completing the prologue and earn a card pack for each completed wing.
  • Lifesteal – new keyword and strength that heals players for damage dealt.
  • Pre-purchase a bundle of 50 cards packs for one-time price of $49.99.

Hearthstone’s Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion is set to be released on August 10.
