Around 48 hours ago, the first invitations for Halo Insider MCC Flight One were sent out via email. Halo Insider MCC Flight One includes an updated version of the E3 build of Halo: Reach, including the “Tip of the Spear” campaign mission.

According to a post on Halo Waypoint from a 343 Industries employee, less than 1,000 people have been admitted to this initial test of Halo: Reach.

Less than 24 hours after those invitations were sent out, another 343 Industries employee updated that same Halo Waypoint thread with another post, revealing that the Halo Insider flight has since been leaked.

“It has come to our attention that the Halo Insider flight has been illegally distributed online. If you download or play this illegal copy, we have the right to ban all associated accounts and remove you from all current or future 343 programs. The Microsoft Service Agreement can be found here.”

Tyler “Postums” Davis, community support for 343 Industries and author of the follow-up post, then took to Twitter, stating, “If you download or play this illegal copy, we have the right to ban all associated accounts and remove you from all current or future 343 programs.”

In another tweet, shown above, Davis reveals that the illegal distribution of this flight was something 343 foresaw and lets it be known that there are consequences for those who participate in this behavior.

Halo Insider MCC Flight One comes to an end on Monday, July 1.
