Out of Nowhere, Windjammers Is Announced for the PS4 and PS Vita

Well that was unexpected! One of the more surprising announcements to come out of today’s PlayStation Experience event was the reveal of a PS4 and PS Vita version of the classic Arcade game, Windjammers. A “flying disc” sport game where players try to score on each other using various characters with unique skills, and on different kinds of courts.

It will feature online multiplayer and have ranked matches and leagues. Windjammers will be out on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita sometime “soon” according to the reveal at PSX.

Hopefully this is the start of a new trend of bringing back old games, relatively untouched with the modern trimmings like online play. Let us know in the comments!
