Persona 5’s PSX Trailer Shows off Tokyo and the Phantom Thieves In Action

The PlayStation Experience is underway this weekend, and after a keynote packed with news even more trailers have begun popping up form the event. Persona 5 has received a brand new English story trailer, detailing the stakes the Phantom Thieves are playing with.

The trailer opens with some narration and the classic Persona phrase “I am though, and thou, and thou art I,” before jumping into some gameplay of the protagonist exploring the city of Tokyo. After that we see more story details of the party talking about their situation, and some battle footage. Take a look at the whole thing down below.

Persona 5 is set to launch on April 4, 2017 for PS3 and PS4. Atlus recently delayed the game out of February to the new date, while also announcing free Japanese voice over DLC that will be available at launch. You can also take a look at the game’s unsettling Persona fusion animation right here.
