Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 Kicks off Filming with Shadowy Cast Photo

You may have heard of this little indie film from some Marvel folks called Guardians of the Galaxy from 2014. Big hit, really funny, made a ton of money and became the highest grossing debut film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Well, Marvel’s now gone and announced that the sequel has begun filming in their Atlanta Pinewood Studios. But more importantly, they’ve announced the filming with a photo showing the Guardians covered in shadow, looking like badasses, as they rarely do. Check it out below. Ah, it’s been too long since we’ve seen Rocket Raccoon, Drax, Star-Lord, Gamora, and Groot. But it looks like Groot is still in his tiny form, and even more adorable than he was when he was dancing at the end of the last film. Luckily, the film will have some sweet new 80s tunes for him to dance along to. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 hits theaters on May 5, 2017.
