Rockstar announced a new heist will be coming to GTA Online, Grand Theft Auto V’s multiplayer component, next week on Tuesday, Dec. 12. “A billionaire tech mogul, an idealistic intelligence agent, a socially awkward conspiracy theorist and a neurotic supercomputer have been forced into an unlikely alliance to save San Andreas from total annihilation,” Rockstar’s official description for the Doomsday Heist says. “As apocalyptic threats mount from enemies unknown, you and your criminal crew are enlisted to un-tangle mysteries and eradicate threats spanning from the bustling streets of downtown Los Santos to the ocean floor and all the way to the inner depths of Mount Chiliad in an epic new online adventure.” The trailer below shows off glimpses of ballistic missile launchers, hovercars, submarine invasions, jetpacks, and lots of explosions. It is unclear who the enemy actually is, but the threat will take players all across Los Santos. The Doomsday Heist will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Dec. 12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=oCZgVGFwKo0
