For the past 22 years, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences puts on a little show called the DICE (The Design Innovate Communicate Entertain) Awards, awarding the best video games of 2018 based on over 20 categories with a total of 56 games.
This year, the 22nd annual D.I.C.E. Awards will be co-hosted by Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller and Jessica Chobot of Nerdist News, and since there are 11 nominations for Sony Santa Monica’s God of War and 10 for Insomniac’s Spider-Man, the highly sought out award for Game of the Year might come quite close between the two PS4 exclusives.
Here are a few of the categories that will be presented at the Awards show this weekend; if you would like to see the full run-down on all 23 of the categories, then make sure to check out the official site.
