According to GT’s associate editor Ben Moore (Grayfox341 in the NeoGAF forums), the employees at GameTrailers only found out about the closure earlier today, the very same day that the company is shutting down.

The site was active for more that 13 years, providing video games trailers, Let’s Play streaming, game reviews, and even some original series. Their incredible reactions to the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Shenmue III announcements at E3 2015 are a personal highlight of GameTrailer’s vast and decorated history.

Watch out for further updates regarding GameTrailers closing’ in the coming days.
