Fuel Your Zelda: Breath of the Wild Adventure with These Delicious Rupee Cookies

Yum!
This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Everyone likes to snack on something while they game, it’s just how things are. Whether it’s Doritos, or pizza, or hot pockets, it’s just what we do. While you’re playing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you may as well get in the spirit of things by eating some yummy cookies that also happen to be shaped like Rupees from the game. This recipe comes to us courtesy from Youtuber Rosanna Pansino and her musician buddy Sam Tsui. She’d been given many requests to make cookies for her Nerdy Nommies show to celebrate Breath of the Wild’s release this past weekend, and it was just too good of an opportunity to pass up.

In addition to the basic sugar cookie making ingredients, you’ll need blueberries, rasperries, or matcha green tea powder, depending on what flavor you’re going for. Ro and Sam have enough for the three types of rupees in Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but whatever you want to make is up to you. You should also be sure to grab some rupee-shaped cookie cutters, which you can buy here.

Follow their instructions to make the cookies, then munch on them while you play Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Oh, and be sure to take selfies and send them to Rosanna, she’s insistent on that.
