Forbes Unveils Their 30 Under 30 List for Gaming

Earlier today, Forbes Magazine published their 30 under 30 issue, an annual look at who they consider to be innovators and game changers within particular industries.

One such industry they cover every year is the wide world of video games. For context, previous year’s honorees include Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg, Halo 5 Design Director Kevin Franklin, and indie designer Davey Wreden.

This years list covers the broad spectrum of gaming – from designers and developers, to YouTube and eSports personalities, and even a writer (woo!). We’ve highlighted a couple of the entries below, with a link to the full list at the bottom.

Jordan Maron, a.k.a. CaptainSparklez, YouTube personality and founder of game studio XREAL is featured most prominently on the site. Notable accomplishments: Over 2 billion views, a new studio with 2 million plus downloads of it’s first game, and an action figure.

Thomas Silloway, Director of Development for Psyonix, a.k.a. the evil genius behind Rocket League.
