Amazon UK has revealed via its Amazon.co.uk Winter 2015 Report that FIFA 16 was the best-selling game of 2015, beating the likes of Fallout 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and Metal Gear Solid V. It was also the 10th best-selling item across Amazon UK’s entire product line-up.
Exact figures have not been announced, but FIFA 16 was the top game with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 coming in at No. 2, and Fallout 4 coming in at No. 3. The report also suggests Grand Theft Auto V came in fourth and FIFA 15 came in fifth. The sales data was recorded between January 1, 2015 – December 13, 2015.
The best-selling game in the run-up to Christmas which is determind by unit sales between November 1 – December 13 was Fallout 4, with Black Ops 3 coming in second and Star Wars Battlefront coming in third.
Black Ops 3 has since climbed the charts and is now the first No. 1 game of 2016 in the UK game sales charts.
