YouTube creator Jameserton animated his perilous journey through Dark Souls II, just in time for gamers to praise the sun in From Software’s Dark Souls III.

You can check out the clip below. Titled Happy Souls, Jameserton interjects a sense of fun with the spooky world of Drangleic. The video is a little over 15 minutes, as Jameserton and his companion comment on how Dark Souls has trained them well, while they slay demons left and right. Suddenly, a giant, iron knight arrives and pulverizes one of the brave knights, as the suffering at the hands of brutally challenging bosses begins.

Characters such as Pate, comments on how overpowered lightning originally was, and the series famous boss fights are all present, as Jameserton travels to locations such as The Lost Bastille and Harvest Valley in this unforgiving action RPG.

We praised Dark Souls III, for its “gameplay is satisfying as usual, and enemies feel challenging, but never unfair.” If you’re already playing, check out this first-person mod or the game’s top 5 most annoying enemies.
