All-out attacks will be making a return in Persona 5, so we’ll still be able to watch as our favorite party members jump onto the enemies and beat them out in a cloud of smoke. Atlus has just released a new video showing off the game’s all-out attacks, and you can check it out below.
The star of this video is Ryuji Sakamoto, your blond-haired male companion in the game. When we checked out the game at E3, an Atlus rep informed us that characters could now get the final strike in an all-out attack. This would then result in a special battle finishing screen that featured the character who had gotten the final strike, along with additional rewards gained from the fight. It wasn’t clear how the finishing strike would be determined, however, so it’s still difficult to tell exactly how Ryuji got the finishing strike in this particular fight.
Persona 5 is set to be released for the PS3 and PS4 on February 14, 2017. The game will be out for Japan on September 15.
