Pokemon GO Gets Released in 15 New Countries Across Asia and Oceania

Pokemon GO has been wildly successful since it was first launched on July 6 in North America and Australia. Since then the game has slowly but surely been launched in many countries across the globe and now 15 more countries have access to the mobile game.

Niantic has announced on its Facebook page that gamers in the following countries can now start chasing Pokemon.

  • Brunei
  • Cambodia
  • Indonesia
  • Laos
  • Malaysia
  • Philippines
  • Singapore
  • Thailand
  • Vietnam
  • Taiwan
  • Papua New Guinea
  • Fiji
  • Solomon Islands
  • Federated States of Micronesia
  • Palau

No doubt these countries will help boost the game even further, not that it needs it. As we’ve reported, Pokemon GO has already made Niantic over $200 million since its release.

Pokemon GO also recently launched in Brazil, just in time for the Summer Olympics, at the request of the mayor of Rio de Janeiro.
