The demo will be delivered at a yet unannounced date for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Apparently, PC users won’t get one. No info has been revealed, for now, about a western release of the demo.

Incidentally, character customization data from the demo will be available for transfer to the finished version of the game.

We also learn new information about the game itself, which will come with special playable scenarios including the Yellow Turban Rebellion or the Battle of Red Cliffs. Meeting certain conditions in these scenarios will trigger historical battles.

Some additional scenarios will be included in the Deluxe and Digital Deluxe Editions only.

There’s no set way to win the game. You can try to unify the world while making sure that all warlords survive, or create your ideal country with your favorite ones. The outcome depends on your playstyles and you can earn titles depending on six fame parameters. Those titles affect your compatibility between various warlords, and events will branch depend on whether you play good or evil.

The game portrays human drama among heroes of the Three Kingdom. If you can create a strong bond with them, you can get married or form a bond of brotherhood.

You can have a child with your spouse and register it as a custom character with a blood relation with your existing one. You can then also play the game again with your son or daughter as the protagonist.

Below you can check out the new screenshots.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires releases in the west on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on February 15, 2022.
