Splatoon 2 is one of the bigger titles set to launch for the Nintendo Switch this year, and players will get their first taste of the sequel during the global testfire next weekend. However, if you don’t want to waste any time in downloading the demo on the day it goes live, you can pre-load it right now.
The demo went live on the Japanese eShop just last night, but it looks like it’s available for download in the US and EU stores right now. The download size is sitting pretty at 410MB, and the game will support the Switch pro controller.
Splatoon 2 is the sequel to the Wii U exclusive, Splatoon, and it sees players taking on the roles of either squids or kids. You can then engage in colorful paintball fights as you try to cover the entire battle arena in your team’s own color. You’ll be able to check out the live demo for free next weekend. Will you be participating in the global testfire? Let us know in the comments down below.
