Everybody’s favourite Bethesda stealth action series  is making the transition to print thanks to industry veterans Titan Comics.
The series will bridge the gap between the critically acclaimed first game and the sequel, diving into the aftermath of Corvo’s dealings with the Lord Regent.
After the first game came swathes of fans obsessed with the lore-rich world created by Harvey Smith and the team at Arkane, and hopefully this will give some more background to Dunwall and the Empire of the Isles.
The preview description tells us a bit more about the story behind the series.
The city of Dunwall: whaling capital of Gristol and industrial hub of the Empire of the Isles. Twelve years have passed since Corvo Attano scuppered the Lord Regent’s duplicitous plot against the crown and cleared his name of the Empress Jessamine’s murder. Now a little older and perhaps a little wiser, Corvo sets his sights on the future and securing an apprentice to continue his legacy. But when confronted by an impossible face from his past, the magically-gifted assassin finds himself once again drawn into a supernatural conspiracy, one that threatens to shake the very foundations of his ancient city!
On top of the comic book’s four issues there will be a trilogy of novels starting with The Corroded Man by Adam Christopher, with the same subject matter. It’s great to see Bethesda expanding on the success of the first game and the amazing characters that inhabit its world.
The Comic series is scheduled for an August release, and the first of the books will launch in September. This will hopefully sate fans desires for Dishonored content leading up to the launch of the sequel on November 11
