Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is an iOS and Android role-playing mobile game that is set before the events of the Kingdom Hearts series. If you are well-versed in the Kingdom Hearts series, than you are briefly aware of all the legends and tales that surround a world before The Keyblade War, where there were many keyblade wielders in the world. In this game, players get to customize and play as one of the original keyblade wielders.

No prior knowledge of the Kingdom Hearts games is necessary to play, but Unchained X has fun bits of lore that fans of the series will certainly enjoy. This seems fitting, since Kingdom Hearts Unchained X fits with the story of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.

As Tetsuya Nomura stated in his full interview, Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is set to be released for iOS and Android devices on Apr. 7 2016.
