Interestingly, the game will be developed by Summon Night 5 studio Felistella, while the scenario and the world view will be by Summon Night series writer Kei Miyakozuki.

More hints about the game will be released on September 8, but we don’t know yet about the its genre, platforms, or anything of the sort, even if the reference specifically to the Summon Night series may indicate that it’s a JRPG.

The Summon Night series debuted in 2000 for the original PlayStation, but Felistella did not work on the original latest chapter of the series, which were created by the now-defunct Flight Plan and by Media.Vision respectively.

Felistella worked on the PSP ports of Summon Night 3 and 4, and then on Summon Night 5. Among the games they’re credited for we can find Azur Lane: Crosswave, Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates, Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers, and the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth series.

It’ll be interesting to see what this game is all about, especially considering that D3 Publisher is usually quite keen on creating wacky titles that fit Felistella really well. Lately, they’ve also been rather active in porting many of their games to the west.
