Writer and co-director of Uncharted: The Lost legacy Shaun Escayg is leaving Naughty Dog for his next adventure. After remaining at the company for nearly a decade, he’s moved on to Crystal Dynamics, where he’s hard at work putting together the new Avengers Project.

“Seven years ago I joined the talented team at Naughty Dog on a project still in its infancy, The Last Of Us,” Escayg said of his departure. “Well, the rest is history. Left Behind, Uncharted 4 were fleeting and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy pushed my creative growth even further- I will miss all my dogs,” he tweeted.

He posted an image via his Instagram account of the new Avengers project logo, letting everyone know what’s going down as the next step of his career. The Avengers Project will introduce a new set of Avengers-focused games with marvel in tandem with Eidos Montreal. We don’t know a lot (or really anything) about what the games will feature, but it could mean very cool things for the franchise in the future, especially with fresh talent like Escayg on board. We did really dig Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
