Crackdown 3 Shows Off Exciting Multiplayer Gameplay in Wrecking Zone Trailer

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

For those who are unfamiliar, the X0 shows are annual events hosted by Microsoft to celebrate all things Xbox. This year, X018 was held in Mexico City and we’ve been getting many exciting gameplay trailers. One of which is for the much anticipated Xbox exclusive, Crackdown 3.

In the trailer, we got a look at some PVP multiplayer battles in the new Wrecking Zone mode. Two teams of 5 versus 5 square off against one another with environmental destruction at the forefront.

It seems there will be a huge emphasis on destroying buildings and anything else in your way. This has always been a huge focus of the game and may explain why it’s been in development so long.

Included in Wrecking Zone are two maps, Blackout Zone and Nova Station, along with two modes, Territories and Agent Station.

Admittedly, Crackdown 3 has been through development hell and has suffered a few delays throughout – but hopefully, it will be worth the wait after all these years and end up in the same echelon as Forza, Halo, and Gears of War.

You can also get Crackdown 3 as an Xbox Game Pass member, since all first-party Microsoft games are included with your membership, which is a fantastic deal for Xbox One owners.

The trailer is explosive, fast-paced, and has us hyped for Crackdown 3 when it launches on Feb. 15, 2019 for Xbox One and PC with Microsoft’s Play Anywhere initiative.
