Cliff Bleszinski first became a big name among gamers when he worked as the lead designer on the first three Gears of War games. After Gears 3, Bleszinski departed from Epic Games after 20 years and established his own studio called Boss Key Productions.
Microsoft bought the Gears of War franchise after Bleszinski’s departure and set about working on Gears of War 4. Given Bleszkinski’s close ties to the franchise, it won’t surprise you to learn that he has been given access to the game a week before its release, but does he like it?
Reassuringly, Bleszinski appears to be have a good time with the game and has been posting his thoughts on Twitter:

Gears 4 certainly seems to have impressed Cliff, which is a great sign, but will it go down well with hardcore fans? Gears of War 4 is set to be released on October 11 for the Xbox One and PC.
