Valkyria Chronicles 4 is coming out for PlayStation 4 in March in Japan next year, and at some point in 2018 for the rest of the world. We’ve gotten a decadent new chunk of gameplay in the form of a new trailer and 40 minutes of gameplay from the title.

Set in the fictional continent of Europa, players will take on the role of Claude Wallace, who went to battle as captain of the Federation Army’s Squad E, who eventually gets caught up in Operation Northern Cross, which is essentially an attack to raid the empire’s capital city. Claude Wallace is the main character, joined by Riley Miller as a second lieutenant technician, Raz the division officer and Assault soldier, Kai Schulen the “one shot killer,” and several other colorful characters.

It looks like it’s poised to go back to the game’s basics from the original few Valkyria Chronicles, and there’s a lot going on in the new gameplay reveals, so if you’re a fan there’s a lot to take in here. Check it all out below in the archive of the most recent livestream!
