Back in 2006, with the initial release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the Nintendo Wii and GameCube, the gaming world was abuzz. Recently arrived was a new installation of one of the most iconic franchises in video game history, making a stunning return with more realistic graphics and gameplay elements.

Now, in 2016, Twilight Princess is getting a new coat of paint, and Nintendo has released a video featuring a handful of developers of the original game, giving viewers a quick insight into the development process and how they made the game as great as it is.

Additionally, interspersed throughout the video is a nice reel of clips of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, just making the wait all the more exciting, as the developers reveal how they came up with certain components of the game, and all the work that went into it.

As great as it is to play games and appreciate them, it’s also valuable to get insight into the development of these projects that bring so much happiness and excitement to the world. It’s inspiring, it’s interesting, and it’s getting us hyped.
