As the name suggests, the overview trailer gives us a brief introduction to the game’s characters, game systems, and combat. Like most Fire Emblem games, your characters will also be able to undergo a class change once you’ve hit a certain threshold with them. There are dungeons to explore, along with new gear to pick up. Shadows of Valentia is a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, and the game will feature a mix of old and new school Fire Emblem gameplay, so that both series veterans and newcomers can hop into it without much trouble.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is set to be released exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS on May 19 in North America and Europe. What are your thoughts on the game so far? Let us know in the comments down below.
