Minecon tickets will be highly sought after given the huge success of Minecraft. If you’re anxious to get tickets then you’ll be pleased to learn that Mojang has announced when tickets go on sale.
The tickets will go on sale in two batches in order to give people in different time-zones a fair chance. The day the tickets go on sale will be the same, but the times will be different. They are:
- May 7, 2am BST – 6000 tickets available
- May 7, 8pm BST – 600 tickets available
Each ticket will cost $160 and you will be able to purchase up to six tickets. Children under the age of three get in free.
In order to try and stop people re-selling tickets, each ticket will have the buyers name on it and they will need to be present for everyone to get in.
Minecon 2016 will take place on September 24-25 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California.
