Grass Pokemon fans rejoice! For this weekend only, Grass-type Pokemon will have an increased spawn rate in the wild. This Pokemon GO Grass Event is based on a study done by Professor Willow and he hypothesizes that Grass Pokemon are going to more abundant this weekend based on reports that he has done. Pokemon GO asks that trainers everywhere help him in his studies by capturing as many Grass Pokemon as you can.

If you do end up catching some elusive Grass-types, make sure that you screenshot your findings and share them on social media using the #PokemonGO. The event will start sometime on May 5 and will end sometime on May 8. You can check out the official site for more details.
