Bungie had plenty of Destiny 2 news to share today at their gameplay reveal, including a few tidbits for PC players looking forward to the game. Bungie welcomed Blizzard CEO Micheal Morhaime to their presentation to announce that Destiny 2 will be coming to PC exclusively through the Battle.net service. This marks the first non-Blizzard title available through the game service, although Blizzard is of course partnered with Activision.
There’s no word yet on any kind of exclusive features or additions that could be coming to the PC version, but it’s certainly interesting to see the partnership between two huge developers. We’ll make sure to update you on any new information that may come out on the PC version of Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 is currently scheduled to release on September 8 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Make sure to take a look at some of the other info shared at the reveal today including new side content coming to the game, in-game clan support, and the new planets you’ll be visiting on your journey.
