Bungie Reveals Destiny 2’s PC Minimum and Recommended Specs

Bungie announced today the final hardware specifications for the PC version of Destiny 2 and exactly what time the game will go live when it launches on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

Check out the minimum and recommended requirements below, which are the same as the PC beta when it released last July. The game requires 68 GB of hard drive space, and can be played on the 64-bit versions of Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 only through the Blizzard Battle.net launcher. Destiny 2 on PC unlocks worldwide at 10:00 a.m PT, and check here to convert that time to your timezone.

Bungie also announced in the post that it would not be fixing the exploit to the Leviathan Raid, which postponed the Prestige version of the activity by one week for console players, due to the quick solution containing “too much risk” without causing problems to other sections. The studio said the Leviathan Prestige Raid will still launch on Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. PT and will be able to verify the first team to clear the raid without exploits, but is currently investigating the issue and plans to roll out the fix in a future update.
