BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle 2.0 Leaked Adding Senran Kagura, Akatsuki Blitzkampf, and More

Today a new update for BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle leaked on Reddit likely before its intended release at EVO 2019.

The leaked trailer (which has since been removed) leaked the upcoming version 2.0 coming on November 21, 2019, alongside a major free patch for the game bringing a “major balance adjustment.”

Two new franchises will be added: Senran Kagura Estival Versus will bring to the table beloved waifu and Gessen Girls’ Academy leader Yumi, while Akatsuki Blitzkampf will debut with protagonist Akatsuki and the tank Blitztank.

If you’re unfamiliar with it, Akatsuki Blitzkampf is a doujin 2D fighting game released for PC in 2007 by Subtle Style. To be more precise, the 2008 arcade version Akatsuki Blitzkampf Ausf. Achse will be the one featured in the game. 

Another new character has been announced, and it’s Neo Politan from Rwby. That being said, there will be more coming with version 2.0, for a total of nine. The remaining five weren’t included in the trailer.

At the moment, the official video has been removed, but you can see a reupload below courtesy of YouTube user Rio Gaming.  I don’t know if this one will be nuked as well, but for now, you can enjoy it. An official upload will be probably published later this evening as the last day of EVO 2019 gets underway. Just in case, I added a few images at the bottom of the post.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is currently available for PS4, Switch, and PC. The latest major update was numbered 1.5 and it came in May, adding Heart Aino from Arcana Heart 3 LoveMax Six Stars!!!!!! and more.
