Lots of new furry friends.

Are your Sims in The Sims 4 feeling a little lonely? Think they could use some companionship outside of the realm of marriage and dating? The best friends your Sims could ever want are coming this November to PC and Mac with The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs, an expansion pack that will add both furry and feline friends to your repertoire in game. Cutest expansion ever? Quite possibly.

You’ll be able to choose your own puppies and kittens from the preset options, but most importantly you’ll be able to make a pet that’s unique to your Sim with the Create A Pet tool. Once you’ve lined out the perfect companion, you’ll then be able to top off the lot with special patterns for their coats and other crazy looks. If that isn’t enough to truly make the pet feel special for your Sims, you’ll be able to add on outfits and accessories on top of your pet’s new dos.

Further, each pet will have special personality traits that you’ll uncover as you play the game and have your Sims take care of them throughout your game. You’ll also be able to train some of your Sims in the new veterinarian career, eventually opening their own veterinary clinic, hiring staff, and taking sure pets are happy and healthy.

If all that weren’t enough to get your tails wagging, you’ll also be able to explore a new area named Brindleton Bay, which is perfect for pet owners to hang out with their dogs and cats, set up obstacle courses, and find strays that you can take in and love on your own. It sounds absolutely adorable.

The Sims 4 goes to the dogs (literally) in November, but you can check out what’s to come in the trailer below.
