Another Awesome Games Done Quick has come and gone, with this one blowing all the other Games Done Quick events out of the water when it comes to donations. The previous record for most money raised in a single event was $1,576,085, and this year’s GDQ raised a total of $2,213,397 (on stream) for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

In the best way possible, the goal of $2 million was hit right before the last run of the event, which featured TGH running Undertale on the true pacifist route. He had originally completed his run with a time of one hour, 28 seconds and 27 seconds, then took on and spared Sans after the run due to a bidding incentive. When all the final totals of GDQ events are combined, they have raised over $10 million for charity and that total is still going up as of this article.

AGDQ 2017 started last Sunday with iongravirei running Ape Escape 2 in the any percent category, since then there has been several runs, races and bidding wars which can be seen on the official YouTube channel. The next GDQ event will be Summer Games Done Quick held in Minneapolis on July 2, 2017.
