The screenshots showcase the game’s cutscenes and come in full 1080p resolution, providing a good idea on the improvement from the original 3DS release.

The original The Alliance Alive was one of the most recent JRPGs developed by Cattle Call, whom you may know for its work on Dragon Quest IV, Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits, Arc the Lad: End of Darkness, Metal Max 3, 4, 2 ReLOADED, and Xeno and The Legend of Legacy.

In particular, the game’s scenario carries an illustrious name, as it was written by Yoshitaka Murayama, who many will know as the creator of the Suikoden series.

It was initially released in Japan in 2017 and in the west last year for Nintendo 3DS. It was published in the west by Atlus USA and in Japan by FuRyu.

The Alliance Alive HD Remastered is scheduled to be released in Japan in the fall of 2019 by Furyu, with NIS America publishing the PC version. An official website is available here.

At the moment the price is still TBD, and a western release has not been announced. That being said, the involvement of NIS America is pretty much a dead giveaway that it’s coming at some point.

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
