New Dark Souls III Screenshots Show Off More Deadly Combat

The wait for Dark Souls III grows shorter, so that means more imagery to whet the appetites of fans waiting to die in the next gothic installment. Gematsu got a hold of 29 brutal images that show just how intense combat will be in this dark new world.

You can see the different stances in action as combat with spears, swords, shields and daggers are on display. There is even a glimpse of PvP in the mix and a few other delights fans will be sure to recognize. On top of images of the action, fans are even treated to some concept art of Dark Souls III, depicting characters, armor, and even a disgusting looking enemy.

With the release date fast approaching, you can expect to see even more of the nightmare that awaits those brave enough. Dark Souls III will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 12. Players in Japan will have the pleasure of dying a few weeks earlier on March 24.
