We’re inching ever closer to the English release of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice, and Capcom has just made a playable demo for the game available to download on the 3DS eShop. Along with that, they’ve also released an 8-minute animated short, reintroducing us to Nick himself, and the world we’re returning to in this sixth installment of the Ace Attorney series. You can check out the new short down below.

‘With the release of the demo today on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS, players can get a preview of the legal adventures that await them in the upcoming September 8 release. The free demo features a section from the game’s first courtroom clash between Phoenix Wright and his new adversary, royal priestess Rayfa, in the foreign Kingdom of Khura’in.’

It still bugs me, the way they’ve changed the spelling for ‘Kurain.’ The demo should give you a nice taste of what to expect from the game’s new spirit medium mechanics.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice is set to be released for the Nintendo 3DS on September 8.
