Another new Fire Emblem game was announced during today’s Fire Emblem Direct. The title will be coming to the Nintendo Switch; there was no mention of a release for the 3DS.
Not much was revealed about the game, in fact the game still has a working title of “Fire Emblem for Nintendo Switch.” It was mentioned that this will be the first time the franchise releases on a home system since 2008, when Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn launched on the Wii.
It would seem that there are plenty of things for fans to look forward to, as the franchise currently has four different projects announced and in the works. This was one of four games showcased during the stream, with Echos for the 3DS, Warriors for the 3DS and Switch, and Heroes for mobile also making appearances.
Fire Emblem for Nintendo Switch is the only one of these games scheduled for a 2018 release, with the others getting a set release date or expected release date of 2017. Make sure to stay tuned to Twinfinite, as we’ll keep you updated on any new info involving this new title.
