Some Users Are Seeing the Xbox One Fall Update Coming out Now

Microsoft has been hard at work rolling out the Fall update, according to Xbox Wire, and every one of the changes it’s bringing to users hungry for a new look on their dashboard. If you turn on your system and see an update pop, get ready for a whole new bushel of changes for the better.

You’ll be able to start pinning things to your dashboard now to customize it as you see fit, using “blocks,” and up to 40 pins. You can also choose from dark, light, or high-contrast themes via Settings to make your Xbox dashboard more uniquely yours.

The guide has been improved tenfold as well, making it easier to move left and right through tabs, and Guide automatically opening up parties or broadcast sections by default so you can get to certain tabs easier than you were able to before. Game invites will be found in the Multiplayer tab, and you’ll even see a special tab running down which friends are playing the same games as you at the moment.

There’s a whole slew of changes coming to notifications so you don’t have to miss anything while you’re away, too. Better screen-dimming is coming to prevent ghosting, enhanced notifications so you can see your updates even when you’re far away, faster profile access to recent activity gives you a better picture of what’s going on, and the new Community feature keeps you closer to the action.

Most importantly, the Nov. 7 launch day will be even easier to get you up and running, so you can save a little time when transferring from console to console.
